Alina`s birthstory

I was induced because I was 41 1/2 weeks late already. The pitocin was started at 8:15 am. By 12:30, I was 3 cm and the contractions were very mild. At 1:30, the doctor broke my water and the contractions started to become pretty uncomfortable. At 3:15, I had the epidural and was 8cm. After the epidural, the baby`s heart beat became very slow, so they gave me oxygen and took me off the pitocin for an hour. At 5:45, I was 9cm and couldn`t believe it. I was sure the contractions weren`t doing anything! I felt like I needed to have a BM, but there was no nurse around. There was a code blue in post partum! at 6:45, I was complete. At 7:10, I started pushing. The baby did not tolerate the pushing well at all and her heart beat dropped . I was given oxygen and only allowed to push during some contractions. Finally, the doctor used a vacume to get the baby out because she was worried about the baby. Alina was born at 7:45.
