India-Alana`s birthstory

India Alana was born on her due date! Only about 3% of babies are born on there due date! I went to my appointment that morning at 10:30am. The midwife said I was a good 3-4cm dilated and she stripped my membranes, she said she did not think I would make it through the night. So I went out to lunch around 2pm with my sister, came back to my moms house so I could see how things were progressing. Started having some good contractions around 3:19pm, timed just a few of them went to the bathroom and started bleeding a little bit, so I thought I would make my way to the hospital went in and was 5cm dilated, they started my iv right away, got that first bag of fluid in quick, and got my epidural. They checked me again and I was at 7cm. They had to put oxygen on me because my blood pressure dropped to 88/35. About 20 minutes later they checked me again and I was dilated to 10 pushed 1 and 1/2 times, and she came right out! I had her at 7:54pm and she weighed 7lbs 5.4oz.
