It all started the morning of the 11th at about 7 am. I woke up with light contractions and just knew that it was the day! I started cleaning and then got in the shower. Atfter I was done getting ready and packed the rest of my hospital bag, I woke up michael to tell him it was time to go have our baby. He didnt believe me lol and said "how do you know??" (I had been having contrations the past few days) I said "I just KNOW!" Lol So we got in the truck and headed to the hospital. When we got to L&D it was about 930 am and the Nurse working at the front desk was a little mad at me Because I didnt call lol oops. I just wanted to get there so I could finally have my little girl in my arms! ... She checked my vitals and everything else (I was 3 cm dialated), she told me to walk around for a little bit and wait for my midwife to get there. So we walked around for about an hour and came back because my contractions where getting a little stong, and my MW was finally there. She checked me again and I was 5 cm, then hooked me up to the moniter. As soon as she got it on me, we heard Kylee kick really hard and thats when my water broke! "I said I think my water just broke", and she laughed and said "yep it did." After that I got put in my own room and it was a long wait from there. I fell asleep for a few hours and then woke up to get my epidural done cause I was having back contractions (soo painful). After that was done we waited a about 4 or 5 more hours, then it was finally time to push! I pushed really hard for about 2 hours and she wouldnt budge. I was so exhausted and in pain by that time I just wanted a C section LOL good thing they wouldnt let me! In between all that my MW and nurses did a shift change. That was a little weird to me.... So the next MW and set of nurses came in. I told the MW I was still in pain and could still feel most of everything. So she had my epidural checked and we found out that it wasnt put in right. So they had the epidural person come back in and fix it. After that I was like OMG this is amazing! I couldnt feel anything except pressure when i was time to push again, which was good. After a few hours it was time to push again, and 4 long exhausting hours later on january 11th at 11:22 Pm .... she decided she wanted to enter the world and I wouldnt change it for anything! Its not true what the say about the getting the epidural because she came out so alert. She was absolutely beautiful with blue eyes and a little bit of blonde hair. I couldnt stop staring at her. We brought her home 3 days later on Daddy's Birthday! The best gift ever he says. She is our pride and joy and we cant even remember what life was like without her.
