Jayden-Rashaun-Lewis`s birthstory
Jayden Rashaun Lewis was predicted to come into the world on June 22, 2008. He arrived 8 days after his due date on July 1, 2008, his uncles birthday, along with his cousin, who arrived at 4:31am, coming 3 weeks early and having to be delivered due to birthing complications with weight gain. I was scheduled to be admitted to Crawford Long Hospital for induction on June 30, my older sisters birthday, at 7:30 but arrived early due to a car accident that sent me to the hospital with minor cuts, bangs, and bruises, although the impact was strong and should have injured me as well as my baby. I began cramping after the impact occurred and made it to the hospital to be greated later by my nervous wreck boyfriend, whom i love so much. I got my i.v. in place at 6:00p.m. and was ready for induction. The cervadil was inserted at 8:45 and stayed in place for 12 hours. I started feeling the beginning of my contractions by 10:00. All the visitors left my about 1 and I began feeling strong contractions by 2a.m. I received 3 doses of meds to ease the pain and help me try to rest although i still felt the contractions. The drugs felt so good and they brought instant relief. One of the hard parts was having to get up to use the restroom constantly at wee hours of the morning. Jaydens daddy stayed with me the entire time and we switched rooms at 11 the next morning to the room where Jayden was born. I showered once i arrived in the room although it was not enjoyable at all and had the epidural shortly after, the epidural sent from heaven, and dozed off off and on through visitations with friends. I pushed a couple times and labor didnt last very long at all. That was the happiest and most scary moment of my life and I would go through it all again for my baby anyday. I love daddy and Jayden so much and the 1st of July definitely changed my life. Im still nervous but I love being a mother and my baby is the perfect baby, i couldnt have asked for a better outcome to this long journey.
