Adam`s birthstory

so i started having contractions on the wednesday the 14th but they werent getting any closer so i didnt think anything of it. wednesday night when we were in bed they were coming about ten minutes apart but still not getting any closer! being the wuss that i am (they said to come in once they were two minutes apart), we went to the hospital anyway around 6:45 am . so we get there and they check me and say i`m only 1 1/2 cent. dilated and to wait for my doctor to see what he wanted to do. i thought for sure they were going to send me home. my doctor gets there and he breaks my water and told them to start me on pitocin to speed things up. so around 8:30ish we call the family and let them know whats going on. well my contractions started to get stonger and closer together so i asked for the happy drugs!! all was good to go after that. so around noon my doctor came back and checked me again and i was bearly at 2 and adam was still very high. he up-ed the pitocin and said he`d be back later. i finally get to take a nap! he comes in around 3:30 to check me again and now i`m bearly at 4 with adam still kinda high. he told me adam`s heart rate is starting to drop after every contraction and didnt want to keep him in there that much longer and that we may need to do a c-section. i said that`s fine, whatever it takes to get him here! he told the nurse to prep me and the operating room! they start to get everything ready and gave jason his outfit (which he called his E.T. suit) and we were off! i was doing so good about not crying up until the point i heard adam cry for the first time. i totally lost it (like i am now...lol). we waited so long and he was finally here. i`ll never forget that moment as long as i live! he was born at 4:03 pm and weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces and 20 inches long. i know everyone says this but he is the most cutiest baby ever! tons of hair and looks exactly like his daddy!! we couldnt be happier and consider ourselves very blessed!!
