ok well as u all prob know ive had contraction type pains since 28 weeks basically had bad pregnancy, i was booked in for my c sec at 39 weeks. I woke up sunday nite and felt wet down below just felt like loads of watery discharge, i went to the hospital and they checked and said waters not gone it must be discharge, woke up next morning and as i sat on edge of bed there was a small puddle about the size of a plate on my sheet, this worried me a bit but the amount of times i thought i was in labour i didnt think i was still! went back to hospital as they asked me to come in for a blood test as i had very low platelets. They checked me again and said nope waters not gone and didnt think they were leaking, i felt stupid thought maybe it was wee! lol Luckily the hosp were being long keeping me waiting and as i stood up to leave my waters broke ALL over the floor loads of it never knew so much water could be inside if me! doctors came straight in and said u need to have c sec today, as ur waters have def broke now! they asked if id eaten breakfast and i had so had to wait 6 hrs before they could operate, then contractions started coming so i had 6 hrs of labour aswell, didnt go past 3 cm although it hurt!! C sec frightned me to death i hated the not feeling my legs etc and after they cut me open they discovered she was breech, not picked up by several midwives! so the surgeon had to basically lay across my belly to pull her out she was stuck. so they said my recovery will be very sore and my whole scar area is black with bruising. And i am crippled with pain but high as a kite on painkillers lol. Lexie was born after 45 mins perfectly healthy 6lb 12oz i thought was good for 3 weeks early baby! shes very jaundice and not feeding great only wants it every 5 hrs which at night is great!! she sleeps ALL the time, shes my lickle doll and i love her soooooooooooooooooooooooo much, no more kids for me that was the worse pregnancy for me ever but worth it! have a look at my pics of me havin my c sec! i look ruff and scared il keep them to reimind me of the pain lol! take care all and gd luck with ur babbas xxxx
