Well on march 29, i woke up and lost my mucous plug, i was already a week overdue so i knew something was going to happen here soon! i was so excited!! Well a few hours later i started feeling kinda crampy and then started having very mild contractions. they werent regular yet and i barely noticed them. At about 10:30 pm that night i started to time the contractions as they were getting closer together. they were about 7-8 minutes apart. i went to bed at about 12 but i was up an hour later timing the contractions as i couldnt really sleep, they werent that painful yet, just annoying cuz i was tired and wanted to sleep. they were consistenly 5 minutes apart. i really did not want to go to the hospital only to get sent home. so i tried to wait it out more. i went back to bed and tried to rest for a little while. by around 6 am i knew we needed to go to the hospital because my contractions were starting to get more intense. so me and jared got up and got our stuff, then we went to sonic, haha, cuz were we hungry and nobody likes hospital food. lol. we got to the hospital around 7:30am and went in to be checked. I was already at 6cm!! i couldnt believe it! so we got admitted. the doctor was suprised at how well i was handleing the contractions. by that time they were pretty intense but i was still managing. the lady actually asked me if i was going to want an epidural and i wasnt sure...haha. i changed my mind later lol. we got admitted into our room. the stupid lady tryed to put that IV in and she couldnt get it in there and i was like yelling at her cuz she was freakin hurting me! so she takes it out and trys in a different spot on the same hand and STILL can get it right! i was mad at that women, so another lady does it on the other hand and gets it on the first try. after i got into the room i had then decided i wanted the epidural. my contractions were hard but i knew they were going to get harder and i was tired as i hadent slept all night. i was already dilated to 8 cm. so the guy comes to give it, it was AWESOME! i didnt even feel anything. the hardest part was trying to lean forward and be still while having a contraction! lol. but after it started working i felt nothing it was great. i got to relax. after that they came and broke my water. they said i was almost there! so a couple hours later, i started having horrid pain in my lower back. i was like yelling at jared to tell that epidural guy to come back!! so the epidural guy comes back and by the time he gets there not only is my back feel like its being ripped out but im starting to feel the contractions in my right side!! so the nurse comes in to check me and she said its time to have a baby! so the epidural guy tops of the epi and i felt wonderful, i couldnt feel a thing, they set up everything and put my legs in those things and i started pushing. Kylies heartbeat was dropping really low as she was coming down so they used those forcep things to get her out quicker. i pushed for like 5 minutes and she was born! at 2:39 pm. i only needed one stitch! and my daughter is so beautiful!!
