Areli-Rose`s birthstory

Went into hospital around 630am 3 cm dilated water broke about 730 contractions for bad so I got the epidural at 7 cm the epi wore off and I felt the rest of the labor. I went from 7 to 10 so quick that I was able to handle the pain. Before I know it the baby is coming on her own head was coming out without me pushing. A nurse almost had to deliver the baby but my doc got there just in time for me to push once and the head was out and the shoulders followed without me pushing at all. She was bright and awake right away. Perfect birth eventho I felt it all it wasn`t as bad as I had expected I actually liked having control of my body.

Leilani`s birthstory

I was passed my due date so and my placenta was maturing and I was only a tight 1 cm, so my doc scheduled me an induction for that day. We went in at 8 got started on the pill that softens the cervix to help dialate around 9. I had three doses and in the morning was a 1 to 1.5 cm. My cervix and baby were both posterior so her head was down enough but both werent in the right position to dialate. Pain was fine. My doc came in and stretched me to a 2 cm and broke my waters. After that things got very painful fast. It was all back labor and I wasn`t dialating. I was trying different positions to get her to turn to put the right kind of pressure on the cervix and it all got too painful so once I got to 3 cm I got the epi and was able to relax and rest and do positions to make her turn that werent painful. All in all both her and my cervix turned the right way and I dialated quick and pushed for less than an hour. Didnt rip or tear. Baby came out with cord around her neck and meconium so she was stunned and took a little to get her to cry. she eventually came to tho and was a 9 on the apgar. YAY!
