Dakarai`s birthstory

Well me and my hubby did da baby dance around 10 pm wed. night on the 23rd. around 11pm i started getting contractions where i couldn`t lay down. so around 1:30 am i woke my hubby up and said i feel like we should go to the hospital. we checked in around 2 to 2:30 am and she checked my cervix. i went from 1 cm dialation to 2 then to 3 cm. so being i was dialating every 45 min they decided to keep me. by the time i got into the actual labor room it was around 7 or 8 am. from there the dr. broke my water i think an hr. or 2 later and no more than 2 hrs i started getting real painful contractions. It got to the point where they were giving me iv drugs being that i chose no to the epidural. im glad i did b/c i would of said yes to it if i gave myself the choice. i was soo out of it i only woke up when the contractions came. My dialation wouldn`t get to 10 cm it stayed at 8 cm for a while then 9 point something for a while so around 7:30 pm a nurse said i should start pushing. I pushed for 45 mins and it felt just as bad as the contractions! my mom and hubby helped me push by holding my legs and keeping my head to my chest. the dr. just waited 4 him and the nurses just helped me with the breathing technique. so at 8:07 pm he finally arrived!!!!
