Emma-Grace`s birthstory

Well it all started on Saturday the 26th, I went to the hospital and had false labor, so they sent me home. I continued to have contractions all week, so after the super bowl on Sunday I just couldnt take it anymore. I went to the hospital and was getting assessed. They admitted me and wanted to monitor me and give me pain meds over night. They said we have 3 outcomes for the morning....1. Your contractions will go away and we will send you home, 2. Your contractions will get worse and you will stay and labor or 3. Your contractions will stay the same and we will induce you. Well option 3 happened. I was induced on the morning of the 4th. They induced me using a foley catheter that they stuck in my uterus and it hurt like hell. Well that brought me to 3 cm and 50%, so they started me on Pitocin. I was on Pitocin for about 12 hours and my contractions were not getting worse and I was not changing at all. So at 11pm at night they decided to give me the epidural (which hurt like HELL) and break my water and monitor my contractions internally. So they did that over night and into the morning and nothing was changing at all. I was in so much pain! So after laboring for over 24 hours they said thats it, you are getting a c-section. So at 11:10 am on Tuesday I had my c-section, she was born at 11:20 weighed 7lbs 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. She is SO BEAUTIFUL and I love her to death!! She doesnt cry at all and she LOVES to sleep!! I am so blessed!!
