had my baby girl sat 11th at 1:45pm no pain meds. left for the hospital at 7 am stopped at toysrus to get a diaperbag and a few other things went in and upon going to the cash register an alarm went off they evacuated the toysrus we didnt get to make our purchases. contractions were 7 mins apart then we got locked out of the car for about an hour BIL was taken me to hospital so DH could take the kids to my grandma's he had to swing by to help him get into the car. by then my contractions were 5 mins apart got to the hospital at 10 something they had me pee in a cup and hooked me up let about 2 contractions pass before they came into the room and said Yep your in labor let me check u. Ï was 6cm 90% effaced the contractions were getting pretty bad but i was able to walk to my room. They had a hard time drawing blood and putting an Iv in that took over an hour the contractions were painful and i asked for an epi if i could have one. but my platelets were to low. DH got to hospital and picked up BIL they went to go eat they almost missed the birth and the nurses were trying to find out if i could get an epi but i had to push and if the call nurses button had worked would of had my baby girl sooner than later. DH and BIL made it into the room i told DH call the doc or nurse i gotta push i gotta push and by then i was moaning in sever pain. They came in checked me i was ready they broke my water and i had to push they told me to wait they werent ready. so they asked me to push and in one giant push she was out they wanted me to stop pushing but i couldn't she was born at 1:45pm 12-11-10 8.1 and 19 in long alert and beautiful.
