Donovin-Wright`s birthstory

I woke up around 4am and felt kinda a wierd feeling in my private. I got up and went to the bathroom and notice that I was in active labor. I was having contractions about every four mins. I then went and called my doctor and he informed me he would meet me at the hospital. He informed me to go to the one that had the NICU just cause I was not quite full term. I was only 35 wks and 5 days.
My husband of course was already awake from listening to me call the doctor. We then went to the hospital which is about 15-20 mins away. By the time I got there and got in bed for them to check me I was already at 6 cm and I was 100% effaced. I then asked for the epi cause my doctor said he would rather me have that just in case. Which by that time I really wanted it.
My doctor then arrived at about 5am. I was getting the epi and then he said let me check you myself after I got the epi it was about 5:30am and he said okay give me a little push cause I can feel Donovin`s head right here. I started a push and he stopped me cause Dovonvin was ready to come out. He then hurried and got dressed and I pushed one full push and he came right out. He was born at 5:37am....when he came out they took him and checked him out cause we knew he was the smaller twin. Donovin was doing great but his blood preasure was down so they took him to the NICU. He had to stay in there the whole time I was in the hospital. They did not let him come home until the fourth day. That was really hard but he is at home with us and doing wonderful!!!

Dominick-Wright`s birthstory

Right after Donovin was born I went down to 7cm so I had to wait to get back to 10cm. That only took about 30 mins. I then started pushing with Dominick and he was born at 6:02am and he was doing great I got to hold him right away unlike Donovin...I only got to give him a kiss which was really hard. The third day Donovin and Dominick got to meet for the first time since they came out into the real world. The NICU doctor said he would let us bring Dominick into the Nicu to see Donovin. That was a relief cause I just needed them to be together to make me at ease. Of course as soon as we put them together they claimed one another down and was holding on to each others arm. Now we are all at home doing wonderful and lving as one happy family with Big sister Alyssa!!
