Duane`s birthstory

ok so I have been having contractions as you all know for a while but on sunday night they were the worse i really had to lay in bed all day. on monday febuary 23,2009 i was still in pain so i laid down and about 4:30pm while i was laying down i heard something go pop and a real big contraction came i wasent thinking oh this could be my water so i went back to sleep for about 10 min. then i got up cause i had to pee and what do i feel water coming down my leg i looked at my hubbie and said my water just broke oh my gosh i cant beliveve it. so i called the hospital and they was like come in the nurse that i have been seeing for this whole pregnacy was like its time were gonna see baby. so we packed up everything just a little stuff cause mostly everything was packed already. and as well hubbie was doing that i washed up and got ready i was in so much pain and my contractions were getting closser and coming on stronger for some reasn i thought i was gonna be in labor for a long time that didnt happen at all when i got to the hospital and was check i was 4cm and i got and epidaoral at 8:00pm then they checked me at like 11pm and was like your complete i was in shock cause aftyer i got the epi i didnt feel a thing him moving down or nonthing when i say i was numb i was numb so we was going to do practice pushing but when i pushed one time they was like ok stop cause his head is right there and then i had to wait i couldnt feel a contraction so they had to tell me when to push and 5 pushes later he came out at 11:19pm weighing 7pounds 20 inches long. 6 hours of labor that didint hurt at all no pain what so ever but the contractions were terrible they was coming every five minutes. i am so happy that my little man is finally here.....................
