Ryatt`s Birthstory:

On Friday, Daddy and I decided to try and speed up going into labor. At 7:15 pm, {15 minutes later} I started having regular contractions. We took a walk and they started getting stronger. I drank some water and laid down, but they didn't stop. I started timing them, and they were 2-4 minutes apart. I waited for about 3.5 hours, and we decided to go to the hospital. They checked my dilation, and I was at 3.5-4 in. They admitted me around midnight. They put a contraction monitor and baby heartbeat monitor on me, and we just hung out until about 6, when the contractions started getting a little painful. I asked for the epidural at 7 cm. I could not feel a thing below my waist then! After the epi, I tried to sleep, but was too excited! I finally got about 45 min. of sleep in, and they checked me again at about 10 am, and I was at a full 10! The DR. (who wasn't mine! ugh) showed up, and I started pushing. I pushed about 5 sets of times (about 30 minutes I guess), and he was out! He was a 9.9 on the Apgar scale. He is such an amazing little man, and I would do it all again in a second for all the love I have for him!
