On Sunday June 29th I woke up around 7:30 am and noticed spotting but no contractions so I called the clinic and waited for the nurse to call me back , I told her what was going on and she suggested I go in to the hospital to be checked so just in case, We all took a shower and I took my bag with me and I noticed little tiny cramps that were 10 min apart and about 5 seconds long , I arrived to the hospital and checked in and then was seen by the nurse she checked me and said she noticed no blood I was 3-4 cm and since my cramps were not painful and 10 min apart I could go home and wait it out , I said id rather stay cause I was scared, she said she would speak to the doctor on call and asked me if I rather walk around so i walked for about 1 min and then thats when i got the real thing! the most painful contraction ever I was crying and she noticed that and decided to wait till 4 contractions to re-check me and when she did I was already 7 cm, they asked if I wanted the epidural and I said yes , after I had to wait to feel pressure to start pushing, then finally , well I pushed for 5 min.
