Jayde Chryslyn`s birthstory

Friday Feb. 27 around 9:45 pm I started having contractions. I timed them and though they were bearable they were about 6-12 minutes apart. Therefore, I went to the hospital. The nurse checked me and I was only 1 cm dialated so after monitoring she sent me home. My baby`s daddy met me there but left before I did so I couldn`t even get sleeping pills since I was driving myself. I was thoroughly pissed off and swore I wouldn`t come back to the hospital unless I was in tears or my water broke (I didn`t wanna drive all the way there just to be sent back).

Saturday Feb. 28 my mom came to visit and we ran LOTS of errands to finish getting ready for my delivery (I was supposed to be induced on the 10th). Since I was walking so much my contractions restarted. By the time we ran our last errand (getting our nails done) the contractions had started to be regular and I`d lost my mucus plug (it was soooo noticeable). However, I didn`t want to go to the hospital and get sent home so I ate, showered, and tried to sleep. Around 11pm the pain was unbearable and my mom drove me to the hospital.

At the hospital, I was checked and was 6 cm dialated!!! I was in so much pain but glad I`d waited. Finally getting to my room, I received my epidural when I was at 7 or 8 cm dialated. This slowed labor a lot and around 7:30 am I started pushing. My mom, baby`s father, and cousin were in the room; mom and Roland held my legs back... I pushed and pushed, felt her head pop out (literally) and there she was! I bawled ridiculously cuz I was so happy and relieved.
