Brayden-Anthony`s birthstory

Went for a NST and U/S Feb 2 and in the U/S she said that the fluid was low so they rescheduled my induction for the 3rd at midnight instead of the 5th. We got there at around 11:45 signed in and they hooked me up to the monitors around 12:30. Started my IV at 1:00am. Checked me at 1:20 and i was still just at 2cm. they stared the pitocin at 1:25am. They then upped the dose at 3:00am and again at 6:35am. The nurse came in at 7:25 to check me again and i was now at 4cm dilated. I slept a little bit b/c i started getting a headache for the lack of sleep. The doctor came in and broke my water at 8:45am. Thats when the contractions started getting stronger not really sure how close they were or how often. They came in at 9:30am to give me my epidural which was kinda painful getting which i dont remember from the first time but i knew i wouldnt feel anything in about 10 min. i felt like i was in heaven. she checked me again at 11:36am and i was 6 cm. finally got about an hour of sleep. then the nurse came and checked me again b/c the doctor called and asked the nurse to come check me as she was at her office about 15 mins. away and i was a 7-8 cm and 0 station at 12:43. i was really starting to feel pressure in my butt and i thought for sure i would poo on the doctor but it was just the baby. when the nurse was checking my she said to push and she was like yep we are about to have a baby. 10 mins later she checked me again and i was a 9-10cm and she told me to push again and i told her i couldnt. so she said i could wait till the doctor got there. 5 min later the doctor walked in and asked if she had time to change and the nurse said no. 1:10pm i started pushing 3x 3 sets of 10. and 1:16pm Brayden Anthony was born. weighing 7lbs 11ozs and was 19 inches long. He scored a 9 for color. and he is amazing. been breastfeeding and so far so good. just starting to get sore. and my 2 year old is the best big brother ever.
