Sienna-Nicole`s birthstory

Well I had been in prodromal labor all week and had dilated slowly to 3 cm,so at my visit with the midwife She stripped my membranes and sent me home.Well that night at about 3 am I woke up with intense irregular contractions,so I was a little confused about calling the midwife.So I continued to labor at home until about 7 am when I noticed Bloody Show,I then called the midwife and she told me to go in to L and D. I took a shower, called my sister n law so that she could pick up my 2 yr old and sent the older kids of to school.By that time I noticed my hubby was not home yet so I called his Job and he came home so we were of to the hospital.We arrived at about 9 am and I was admitted at 5 cm dilated and baby`s head was at 0 station. I began walking through the labor and maternity floors to try to encourage some regularity of the contractions and further dilation. Hours later I was checked and there was no change so afraid of pitocin I began to walk and labor on the birthing ball,That time was the magic walk.LoL My contractions began to come with a fury 1 minute apart.I labored for another few hours until I felt a sudden urge to push.Well 16 hrs of active labor and 3 pushes later I welcomed Sienna Nicole to our lives and hearts!
