Geez I really dont want to do this since there is so much to remember but I will try...

I went to the hospital at 5 pm on the 10th to get induced. Dr Anderson checked me and I had actually dialated to a 2 by myself! I got a pill placed by my cervix at 6 pm to soften it. The contractions started right away. It was the little push my body needed. My body was having steady, mild contractions all night so at midnight when I was supposed to get a 2nd dose they chose to just wait so my baby didn't get distressed. Early in the morning maybe around 4 am they came in and checked me and I was dialated to a 3 so they decided to break my water. It was insane I couldn't do anything but laugh because it was such a shock. It was SO WARM and there were like 3 big gushes while I was just laying there in it. l0l. At about 3.5 cm I was having steady contractions that I couldn't breathe through. Everytime one came up it just made me panic because there was nothing I could do but kind of squirm in my bed in pain. They let me have my epidural and I got it in about 10 minutes if that. It was amazing I was so lucky. They started pitocin right after that. I was fine and it was great. l0l. I did fine throughout the day I got lots of rest untill about 2 pm Dr Anderson came to check me and I was dialated to 5.5 cm. He predicted I would be fully dialated by 6 pm and push untill about 8 pm. Right after I got checked though I wasn't comfortable anymore. Something felt different and I was having pain where before I wasn't feeling any. I called my nurse Megan in and told her and as she was feeling she said "Where's John?" because he had gone home to shower and stuff since nothing was happening yet. We all knew what that meant. l0l. I was 9 cm. I went from 5.5 to a 9 in about 30 minutes. Soon after THAT, I felt like pushing. It all happened really fast. His head still hadn't dropped to 3 it was stuck at 2 so they made me sit with the foot of my bed lowered and it was so uncomfortable so I fell asleep. I woke up and pushed for over an hour but I was feeling really really bad and the baby's heartbeat skyrocketed at one point it was almost 190 bpm. I had a fever of 102.7 and they told me I had an infection and I would probably need a c-section. At 6 pm that's what we thought the plan was. But then they came back and said that would be even more risky than a vaginal birth so they gave me tylenol and I fell asleep. I woke up and pushed for 3 hours [the max they would let me] and then I practically begged to have a c-section when I had 10 more minutes left to push. My mom asked the doctor please give her a csection too she was in tears and my sister was in tears too from watching me try so hard and I was in so so much pain. I pushed for so long and so hard. I tried about 6 different positions multiple times. Squat bar, the big ball, left side, right side, center, everything. My butt hurt SO bad and his head still wouldn't drop I knew I wouldn't be able to push him out in 10 minutes. He was so close though they all saw his hair and it had given us hope. At 11 pm I went into the OR and at 11:06 our beautiful Jackson Charles came out screaming. He was crying BEFORE he was even out. He had to be pushed back up the birth canal for them to pull him out. John and I were laughing at how big he was and at the chubbyness. But we never imagined he would be so big. l0l. After the torture of getting my uterus reduced in size as much as they could and all of that I got rolled back to a room full of my family who had been waiting for 7 hours and more. John met me at the door and said Momma you had a big baby! 9 pounds 10.7 ounces 22 inches! I was like oooomg good thing I didn't push him out. NO WONDER I couldn't push him out. My freaking doctor just swore up and down that he would be 6-14. I loved rubbing it in his face the next day. Anyways. He is perfect and breast feeding is going perfect.
