Shane-Thomas-`s birthstory

It was a amazing. It started out on sept. 27th around 1130 pm with some cramping and tugging in the lower abdomen. I waited for alittle to see if it would go away but it didnt. I called my doctor and she said that i should go to the hopsital to be put on the monitor so that they could track my contractions. Well as it turned out when i got to the hospital was already 4 to 5 centimeters dilated. So i walked around the hallways for about 45 minutes then i went back to the room and they rechecked me i was a full 5 centimeters. Well at that point they told me that i was gonna be admitted to the hospital and would probably deliever by mid morning. Well to my surprise they were right. I was a full 10 centimeters around 12 noon. I pushed for a good 45 minutes and out he came. Our happy baby boy Shane. Weighing in at 7 lbs 1 oz 19 1/2 inches long. Very healthy boy. but unfortunely i had to get an epistomy...and now that im home im really sore. But it will heal and get better day by day. The overall labor and delievery part went very well...the only part i hated was the epideral i was very scared and yes i did cry but hey thats normal lol. My boyfriend and I are very happy that he is finally here it was a long 9 months and now we have forever to cherish the wonderful memories with our son.
