Bryce-Michael`s birthstory

On Thursday afternoon I thought I was leaking fluid so I went to my doctor. It was a false alarm, but I was 3 cm dilated and in early labor so she said to be ready for baby in the next 48 hours! At 1:00 AM I was woken up by a really strong contraction, and they came steadily every 7-8 minutes for an hour. I woke up my boyfriend and said it was time to go to the hospital! We arrived at the hospital at 3:00 - around 3:30 my water broke. I got my epidural at around 5:00 AM, and boy was it a lifesaver! I didn`t feel it at all and within 15 minutes I was pain free! At this point I was about 5cm dilated and they said I probably had about another 5-6 hours before it would be time to push. I took a little nap and woke up 2 hours later with some pressure in my lower back. The nurse checked me and I was ready! My doctor arrived and I started to push at 9:00AM - my beautiful baby boy was born at 9:47AM. It took a little while for me to get stitched up and then we were moved to our regular hospital room. We came home at 8:30 the next night.
