Molly`s birthstory

well Molly was born 5 weeks early. I was having pains starting at 1pm at walmart and I told my hubby and he thought the baby was just dropping because my belly was looking different. well, after about 4 hours of the pain coming and going, I called the doctors and they told me to go in and be monitored. I went to the hospital. My hubby still thuoght it was nothing and so did the midwife. the moniter showed I was contracting every 5-7 minutes. my midwife said... well, if the contractions conitinue for another hour, we`ll call the doctor. they gave me iv fluids to see if they would slow down or stop, but they kept coming faster and faster. now they were every 2-3 minutes and I wasn`t allowed anything for pain or to eat or drink. it sucked. I kept calling my hubby telling him I was in labor but he didn`t believe me because I was in so much pain throughout the whole pregnancy. I finally called him at 10 pm and said why is your sister not watching our 18 month old??? he said why would she? I told him because I told you I was in premature laboer and the dr is going to do the c section lol. he got up there real quick after that lol. anyways, she was born with only 37 % oxygen and had to be transfered to another hospital 1 1/2 hours away. she turned blue and stopped breathing and it was aweful, but she spent 13 days in the hospital and has been home for 2 1/2 weeks and is doing great. we love her so much and I am so happy she is our last. I got my tubes tied. yeah
