Alexis`s birthstory

Made it to labor and delivery at 5:30 am for an induction.Got all my iv`s and got set up.Nurse came in and started the pitocin at around 8:00 am.I was dilated to 2cm when she started me on it.My doctor came in at around 8:30am and broke my water...ladies..don`t be nervous..you won`t feel a thing..the bag has no nerves.in it.Feels like a regular exam all except the gush of warm fluids you feel..lol..its not bad.I was so nervous.I was having major contractions that lasted about 2 minutes esah!!It was just like bad period cramps..I could feel them coming because they started off feeling like you`re about to take a poop then my back started to hurt.I toughed it out for hours before I asked for an epidural.They numbed me up and got me on it.Its not bad at all.Around that time 3cm.A couple hours later I started cramping on my left side and thought...`Oh my god..my epidural didn`t work`..I felt some really strong contractions so I contacted the anesthegiolist.My nurse makes her own pitocin so after a few hours of barely dilating she switched the `machine made` pitocin bags to her mix and I dilated from 3cm-10cm in an hour...that nurse was so sweet.!!So the anesthegiolists came in and shot some more stuff in my iv...I don`t know what it was but it numbed me up within seconds.RIght after about 4 pushes Alexis was out..6 pounds 4 ounces 19 1/4 inches long with a head full of black curly hair.I knew that heartburn was there for a reason!!I passed a lot of gas .
