I was on the phone with my friend for about an hours and a half......AS SOON as we hung up at about 2:40am I felt what I thought was a contraction (I always imagined these unbearable pains that I`d be laid out onthe floor with or something) but it didnt hurt...it just felt like a menstural cramp, so I brushed it off as a bh....5 minutes later another one came & I felt like I had to go to the bathroom, so AS SOON as I hit the toilet, my wate breaks!!!! (Thank God we didnt have to clean it up)!!!! Thats when my contractions started coming even closer....We called the hosputal & she told me that since I was doing so well, I could wait around the house for a while....I took my shower, packed my bags & maybe 2 hours later we were on our way. By the time I made it to the hospital my contractions were about 2 minutes apart lasting between 20 & 30 seconds. When I got to L&D I was at 5 cm, so they gave me the epidural (I wanted it because Idk how long my labor would last & the contractions were startin to annoy me)....when I got my epidual I`d progressed to 8 cms & at about 7:30am I was @ 10!!! They prepped me to push & the hardest part was breathing, My epidural wasnt really strong bc I felt EVERYTHING!!!! It felt like a huge bm lol I really felt constipated....by 8:30 she was in my arms. I know every1 says it, but even though she`s not even 2 days old yet, I can no longer imagine life w/o her....I tore a little so I had to get one stitch but in the end, she was well worth it!!
