Savannah-Lynn`s birthstory

Hello all! My little angel is finally here and she is georgous! I went in on Friday the 25th of January to be induced at 5:30 a.m. They started pitocin then and I was already 2cm dialated. I had nice contractions all day but I only dialated to 3cm. At 6pm they decided to stop for the day to let me eat and take a shower and get some rest. At 9pm they decided to (soften my cervix) for the night with a monitor, needless to say I did not rest well at all. (Nor my husband..lol). So at 6 a.m. they started the pitocin again, and broke my water, I dialated to 4 cm and at 10 a.m. when my doctor came in to check me, he said he felt something that did not seem right, I was scared to death. They brought in the u/s machine and did an u/s of my baby and come to find out she was coming butt first through the birth canal. So they took me in for a c-section. My little girl entered the world at exactly 11:00 a.m. on Saturday the 26th of January. Weighing in at 7 lbs 6ozs, 20 in long. She is doing great! She passed her hearing test(something they do on c-section babies) and made 9 on her apgar test. I feel great, just ready to go home. We are scheduled to go home tomorrow evening if all goes well. I am just so glad everything is over with(pregnancy) & ready to be a Mommy & raise our little girl with my husband!
