So I went in Monday night (April 7th) to the hospital to be induced. Everyone decided to have their water break that night and they were actually full. So I waited in the waiting room for long enough to see my Tigers lose =( I started cramping pretty bad in the waiting room so when I got the cervadill, it brought on real contractions. By that time I was soo tired already and I went twelve hours being awake, and crazy when I tried to take ambien. The next morning my doctor came in and said we had to wait until 2 to start the pitocin. By 2 pm I was crying and exhausted and basically breaking down and when they gave me the pitocin I told the nurses I couldn't take it anymore and to get me the epidural. It was nice. I slept for and hour, and 2 hours after they gave me the epidural I had gone from 3 cm. to 8 cm. AWSOME. So after being awake for 30 something hours it was time to push. I realized I could give it all I had and get him out or push for hours and kill myself. So after about 30 minutes he came out and was perfect!! I am just now getting enough sleep to feel somewhat sain again. Giving birth is a hell of a lot harder than I thought !!!!
