Birth Story!!!

My water broke at 12:40am. I had just taken a benedryl so I was so out of it when it happened. I went to the hospital and got pitocin to speed up labor because I was only 3cm dilated and having no contractions. After laboring Without drugs for 8 hours, they checked me and I was only 4cm...... WHAT??? I was so upset, they said I had a band of scar tissue that needed to be broken around my cervix or I wouldnt dilate past 4, they tried to break it without drugs but I was in sooo much pain, that I gave in to the epidural, after they broke the scar tissue I went from 4cm to 10cm in 20 minutes!!!! They asked me to push to see how good I was pushing, they were stunned at how fast my little guy decended... after calling the doctor in, I pushed 2 more times and he was out! 7pounds 9oz and 19in a half inches long. He was perfect. Apgar score of 9.9 I had a small tear but thats about it. The birth was perfect...just perfect.
