`s birthstory

I had been having really bad cramps the night before I went into labor...they were very inconsistent so I assumed it was false labor...the next day, I went to work (i work at a hospital so it was convenient) and the pains were just terrible..and still inconsistent and my contractions werent that strong. I went to see Dr Kelly in his office, and I was still 4cm dilated, with no change...he sent me upstairs to be checked...an hour later I was 4/5 cm dilated so they kept me..and 2 hours later i was 8 dilated. I got an epidural they broke my water, and I stayed 8 dilated for 4 hours so they were going to make me do a C-section. As soon as they put the foley in I had to push, and was automatically 10 dilated. and 40 minutes of pushing later, there was baby Nicholas :)
