Wyatt`s birthstory

I ended up going to the hospital two weeks before Wyatt was born. The doctors found a blood clot in my leg streching from my groin down to my knee. It turned out very scary because the clot was life-threatening. I was not allowed out of bed for two weeks. I was put on heavy medications and blood thinners. Wyatt came two weeks early due to the fact that I had begun contractions and the doctors needed to regulate the delivery based on all the meds I was taking. So...I was induced at 6:30 am on April 30th. Throughout the day the doctors used a balloon to try and expand my cervix, they broke my water, and tried a couple of other things to move delivery along. By 10:00 pm that night Wyatt`s heartbeat started showing variables because he was getting very tired. The doctors decided to do a c-section. That was scary in and of itself because at that point I had ben taken off of the blood thinners. Surgery was risky but fortunately it worked. I stayed in the hospital for a week after that and then went home. Unfortunately, a few days later I ws rushed back to the ER via ambulence due to some incredibly huge clotting in my uterus. I lost a LOT of blood and had to stay in the hospital for 3 more days. Throughout the course of this whole I process I was in the hospital for a total of a month. It was exhausting and emotionally draining but we are now on the mend!!!

Wyatt has gained two pounds already and is so healthy! My clot has all but gone away and I am feeling so much better. I still have a few complications but things are definitely getting better!
