Jackson-Joseph`s birthstory

~*Ok I had been 3 1/2cms for almost 2 weeks and 60% thinned. Having contractions everyday that would go good for hours then stop! Midwife set an induction date for 6am Nov 13 2009! I woke up at 4:23am to pee and couldn`t go back to sleep noticed I was having contractions but took a shower and did my hair and make-up to get ready to leave. We got there at 5:30am they started the IV but waited to start the drugs til I had my epi which then we had to wait for my blood work to come back so they hooked me up and also noticed pretty good contractions and asked if I wanted to see if they would go anywhere. I told them no b/c they always stop anyways lol! Doc came in at 9am did my epi which went great everyone was talking and laughing while it was being put in! Waited for that to kick in then doc broke my water! And let me tell you there was a flood!! Went all in my bed and the floor!! Around 10:30am started the drugs in the IV NEVER FELT PAIN!!! At 11:45am started feeling alittle pressure so they checked me and I was 5cms! Gave me some sleeping meds and took a nap! 12:35 woke up feeling pressure big time call nurse in was 7cms! Mom and hubby walked down to smoke not even 5 mins later I needed to push!!!!! Nurse didn`t really think I was that close til she checked me and his head was right there!!! Had to call them back in while nurse is telling me not to push and holding his head in calling the midwife in 12:40pm started pushing and he came out at 12:49pm!!! Best labor I ever had! I got everything I wanted with my brith plan and more! In all 3 1/2 hours of painfree labor!!*We came home at 5:05pm Nov 14th 2009 and are doing great! I`m even breastfeeding when I never planned to! They laid him on my bare chest after birth for 4 hours!!! 45mins after birth he found my breast and took right to it and feed for 45mins! It is still going great and I love the bonding I have between just me and him!*~
