Colt-Thomas-Brasseur`s birthstory

I was scheduled to be induced at 4am on July 16th due to having gestational diabetes...My induction finally started at 8:20pm, after waiting all day for a bed...the dr came in on July 17th at 0810 to break my water,thats when labor finally started,i didnt feel hardly anything b4 then just felt like bh contractions...exactly 4hrs later my lil man as here...he gave us quite a scare at first, the cord was wrapped around his neck twice and was so tight he was not breathing and his heart had stopped. He also had lil red dots all over his head, face,neck and even on his eyes from being strangled by the cord. There were really no signs of this prior to him coming out cause it all happened so quickly,I went from 5-6cm to 10cm in 15min and 4 pushes later he was here. His apgar scores were 3 and 8. He weighed 7lbs 1oz and was 19 1/4in long. Because of the complications with him we had to stay the full 48hrs in the hospital but he is doing awesome now!! He is now 8lbs 5oz and 21 1/2in long.
