Lillyana-Marie`s birthstory

Well around 9pm i noticed i was having contractions so i took a shower just in case then sat on the birthing ball. about 5 mins in i felt a pop then nothing came out but contractions started picking up. I went to the hospital and they monitored me. They said that i was contracting every 3 to 4 minutes so they didnt want to send me home but i was not progressing and i had what were double contractions. One right after the other. they said she was posterior facing the wrong direction and that my labor would be longer because of it. I needed to get her turned so i could progress. after about 2 hours of walking and on my hands and knees she finally shifted and i went from 3cm to 7 cm in about 30 mins. well i got my epidural then got stuck at 8cm! my contractions went from 1 minute apart to 6 minutes apart and nothing was happening. they couldnt start pitocin or break my water till the doctor arrived. well i sat up all night exhausted and frustrated that my labor was almost stopped and i was still at 8 cm come 8 oclock in the morning!!! Well shift change came and my new nurse says, how would you like to have a baby? I said that would be freakin nice. i was really pissed and exhausted at this point. so she said i am going to check you and `accidentally` break your water =) i was so thrilled and she is like you CANNOT tell anyone....dont worry lady i love you and i wont....lol so she checks me and says woops..LOL my water was broken and she calls the doctor. the doctor came in 20 mins later and Lillyana was already crowning. They let me labor down which was the most amazing most intense feeling. then tell me to push gentally. One push and her head was out, second push and my beautiful baby girl was born into this world. I may have been exhausted and irritated but the birth was so beautiful and almost pain free. I didnt tear at all and it was just the best birthing experience ever =)
