Tristan`s birthstory

The surgery was fine and there was no complications I was there at 9:30am and everything ran on schedule. I was very hungry...it was weird being numb but considering I was getting surgery they said I was amazingly calm. Kris was great after what happened the night before. Tristan Graham Kenneth Weaver was born at 11:46am at 8lbs and 14 ounces and he was a screamer lol but his cry had changed after awhile and didn't sound like screaming, and all the doctors and nurses said happy birthday to Tristan and welcomed him to the world . Kris held Tristan by my head until the surgery was over and he would only open his eyes when he heard my voice...he was so cute but I couldn't hold him just yet. Once it was over and they wheeled me to recovery thats when I got to hold my baby...I felt very tired from the epidural and I guess I was very cold too they covered me in the heated blankets and stuff until my body temperature was back to normal.

Doctor Bolten said I made a good choice by going for the c-section because he said because Tristan was so big they probably would have ended up doing a c-section anyway if they had tried to turn him around.

I went to my room and thats when my inlaws showed up and my parents but they didn't stay long because I was tired. I threw up about 8 times so because of that I didn't get a real meal until the next morning which ended up being like over 24 hours without food. Kris had no help at home because his parents were unpacking from moving and James ended up getting sick too so he couldn't come see for much than a few minutes a day except one day when my mom watched the kids for 2 hours while he visited me. I was in the hospital from Sept 2 to Sept Sept 5 which is a normal hospital stay for someone who has had a c-section. Kris wished that he could have stayed over night with me but no one was available to watch the kids for him.

When I got home Kris took over everything and took care of me and the kids and the baby, he has been wonderful. He's cooking, cleaning and taking care of the kids plus me and baby, he makes sure I never miss a meal...so he even feeds me if the baby is eating when its time for me to eat...he doesn't want me to lose my energy because i am pretty hungry at meal time myself.

I went to the hospital weighing 215 lbs and now I am 189 lbs 12 days later.
