Well Friday Jan 9th i had a dr appt at about 10am so at the appt my doc checked me and as he was checkin me he tells me.."i'm sweeping your membranes" (thanks for the warning..lol)..then he tol me when i start feeling the contractions no matter how far apart to go to the hospital ASAP. By the time i got home from my appt it was about 12:30p..so i called the hubby and let him know what was goin on and so we agreed that when he got home from work we would go to the hospital. So he got home about 2:30p and we got everything together and were off to Hackensack Hospital. After being admitted and put into my room i was still like only 2 cm dialated (now its about 6pm). Doc comes in and checks me again ( without warning again) he says " i just broke your water"...After that the contractions were kickin my ass...so i got the epidural ( i was tryna be a tropper being that i didnt get one with either of my other children)...which after that i was in heaven cuz i didnt feel a thing ( whoever invented that i could jus kiss them..lol)..within an hour i was 5 cm and within another hour i was fully dialated..so by 9 the doc said i was ready to start pushin soon...by 9:15 i was pushin like a pro...doc said i was makin it look to easy!!...by 9:34p we were welcoming Messiah Ahmir Campbell into the world!!!...My nurses and my doc said my birth wouldve been perfect for students to watch..i did a great job!!...My hubby was there the whole time either holding my hand, rubbing my head or watchin our baby come into the world...i love him to death...He is the greatest and i thank him for giving me this beautiful healthy baby boy!!!
