elijah-joseph-sangtiago`s birthstory

on the 17th anround noon ,i noticed i was `leaking` like every hour, but i thought it was just normal discharge. i waited till my man got off of work and told him about it, he said we should go to the hospital. we got there around 9pm (still the 17th). i was in the examining room for like 3 hours, they had to run a few test to see if my water broke. they had to do the test like three times because they kept getting mixed results.i was so fricking irritated. finally after the third time of them re doing the test it was positive... my water did break. after they admiting me, i told the nurse that my baby was still breached, that i had a doctors appointment the next day to have him turned. so around 2 o`clock.... yea, what is that, like 5 hours later... to male doctors come in and say `we are here to turn the baby`. they rub mineral oil over my belly... i got 1 doc on my right side and the other 1 on my left, 1 pushing up and towards, the other pulling down and away.it didnt take that long ... about 5 minutes later my baby was right where he needed to be. my man and my daughter spent the night with me there. the next morning he took her to school and by the time he got back just about everyone already knew my baby was on the way.my mom, sisters, nephews, friends where on the way... at the same time... my room was so packed with nephew and niece in there terible twos and just every one talking it was very hard to relax, but i was still glade they all came.around 3:50pm the nurse came in to get everyone out so they could check me. i was 4cm. they said 4 cms is considered active labor. they said it might be best if i got some rest because the more relaxed i was the more relaxed my cervix was. so they all started to leave.it was just my man my daughter my mom my sis and her son in the room. my mom and sis were getting ready to leave when the nurse came in to check me again. and i was 10 cm. my sis took the kids out of the room and the nurse told to to try to push when i felt a contraction, so i started to push. about 15 mins later my baby was crowning ,so the nurse called in the doctors, about 10 mins after that my handsom baby boy, elijah joseph santiago was here!!!!!!a little over 3 weeks early, all 6 lbs 11oz`s of him was in my arms and i couldn`t be happier!!!
