Elizabeth-Aileen`s birthstory

It has been a long pregnancy, filled with times of bleeding and severe morning sickness. I was to have a planned C-section as i had to have 2 previous ones. Everything went as planned, but i did have a reaction to the pethadine used for the spinal and vomited the whole time. It was beautiful though because my baby did not leave my side thw whole time. She was placed up near my face while they stiched me up and in recovery she was on my chest for skin to skin time and she had a little breastfeed. Although i felt unwell i wanted this time with my baby. Breast feeding has been made easier. I also got to examine my placenta when i felt better and they talked me through it all. I found out that my cord was attached to the side of the placenta instead of the middle, so if i had of gone into labour it would of most likely pulled away. Anyway, my little girl is beautiful and we are home.
