Charley-Louise`s birthstory

Well here goes so I was booked in for induction n the 23rd April, after ringing the hospital at 10 in the morning I was a little upset that I was told they didn`t have a bed for me and they would call me later seeing as I hadn`t slept and I was so nervous about it :( I waited all day for a call and finally received one at 6:30pm to say they was ready for me to go in..so now I`m so scared yet I`m so excited that I`m soon finally going to meet my lo. I has the propess pessary inserted at 10:30pm and gt settled to sleep for the evening, I woke up at about 3:00am with slight pains only like a period and went back to sleep till 7 rang my partner to come back to the hospital he arrived at 8:15am when he got there the pains got worse but not unbearable...so just before 9:00am the pain was so intense but the midwife decided to just leave me on a monitor why she went and gt a colleague to deal with me, she arrived to examine and I was 8cm dilated and said if she could not find me a room then I would have to deliver on the ward..so now I`m thinking ok give birth on a ward with other people n there not what I imagined but hey this babies coming...she runs off gets me gas and air and goes to find me a room, she came back 2mins later to take me to my room..later found out it was the birth pool room who she had just chucked workmen out of...I get my gas and air sit on the blanket on the floor and the baby was coming straightaway the head came so quickly before I knew it she was born my beautiful little princess Charley 10lb 3oz..luckily no tears so no stitches :) and I was sent home 6 hours later, I`m now 5 days post partum and I would do it all again, I`m so in love with my little lady!!!
