Logan-Karl-Thomas`s birthstory

Well...I had a dr appt, went to that, was 4cm...contractions, just nothing painful. Dr says I should go to the hospital and just get things going.... I was positive for GBS, so I arrived at the hospital at 11am, had an IV started, then had my first round of antibiotics. This didnt take any time at all, but they wanted to do a second round. They had to wait 4 hours before they could do the second round. I would have that done at 4:15 pm...at about 3pm, I decided to have the epidural because my contractions were starting to become more regular, and a little uncomfortable. I didnt want to have to wait to get it until I was really hurting. At 4:15 they checked me, still 4 cm, gave the 2nd round of antibiotics, broke my water, and started a little pitocin because they wanted my contractions more regular. At about 5:45 they wanted to adjust the monitors to pick up the contractions...I rolled over and instantly felt the urge to push...of course they say NOOOO!!!! So, they checked me, and I was complete. I pushed from about 6 to 6:30 and my beautifull son was born.....so PERFECT....so...actual labor time was about 2-3 hours, actual time in the hospital before birth was about 7 hours. I love my fast labors!!
