David-James-Juliano`s birthstory

We went to the hospital on December 26th for the induction. After 2 medications, and 18 hours of waiting and being monitored for the blood pressure and contractions and fetal stress tests, there was no advancement to dialation or strong progressive contractions. At this time, Dr. Levine said it was best for the C-Section to be performed. This was on 12/27/07 (my birthday!). At 8:38 pm after a successful surgery, our little boy, David James was born! David is very healthy and happy! Mommy and Daddy love him ver much!!!!!

3/12/08 OK So I just figured out that we can continue to update this page! WOW! So much has changed in such a short time since our son's birth.

David was born at 7.3 poundson 12/27/07 and went home at 6.12 pounds. By February 6, he weighed 9.2 pounds, and 9.9 pounds on the 18th of February. We had to go to the Cardiologist of CHOP because the pediatrician heard a murmer in his heart. SCARY!! She said not an emergency, but get in there within the next week for his heart to be examined. Fortunately, he is ok. Although he does have a hole in his heart, the Cardiologist, Dr. Anthony said it is fairly normal and not to do anything. See him next year for a follow up visit.
