Cayden-Jaron-Raymond-Randle`s birthstory
Well Monday, Feb 11th, I had a scheduled induction. Once I got there I filled out all of the paperwork and got settled in, hooked up to the monitors, etc. Around 7:15pm I recieved the first Cytotek(?) pill to start ripening my cervix some more. At 11 I took the second one and at 3am they gave me the third one. Around 3:30am, the contractions started to get really painful and were coming about 4 mins apart but I was still only 2cms, so they gave mea sleeping pill to help me get some rest. The next morning my dr. came in to check me at 8:30am and I was still at a 2 and in serious pain. She broke my water and they started me on Pitocin. At around 10am, I was only 3cms and in serious pain so I broke down and got an epidural. WHAT A RELIEF!!!!! So around 12:30pm I was only 4cms, labor was progressing very slow, so I was starting to get irritated. I went to sleep only to have the nurse wake me up at about 4pm and say that I was a 7 almost 8, man was I happy. So at 4:30 my dr. comes in to check me and Im already 9 1/2cm so she tells me to push with the next contraction to see if we can move my cervix out of the way...it does!!! She goes to get dressed and then I start to feel sick, I start throwing up everywhere and that was making me push him down. The nurses were saying they could see his head by the time my dr. made it back in the room. THIS IS WHERE ALL HELLLLLLL BREAKS LOOSE. So I start to push and they keep saying I can see the head he`s almost out, Im getting irritated because they keep saying the same damn thing and I am STILL throwing up constantly. After pushing for 30 mins she decides to try the vacuum on his head, it doesnt work because he has tooo much hair. Meanwhile, my epidural is starting to wear off in one leg!!! After pushing some more she decides to try the vacuum again because now everyone is getting paranoid thinking something is wrong, it worked this time and out he came at 5:50pm on Feb 12th. Once he was out all I heard was silence, and then several `oh my God`s` and `wow he is huge`. He somehow managed to get the cord around his neck twice, but was breathing ok, but he did damage to mommy, I had to get over 60 stiches(they stopped keeping track at 60) and the entire time my dr. is stiching me she is constantly asking how much did he weigh.............drumroll please.........8 LB 15 OZ 22IN..........and they predicted he would be no more than 7lb 11oz. Yea right!!!! It was hell but I wouldnt trade it for the world!!!!
