Alyssa-Paige`s birthstory

I was having a doctor visit on Tuesday January 8, to get a stress test done, because of my history of chronic hypertension. The test results showed my baby`s heartrate decelerated, so I was told I needed to go in and deliver, I was not happy about this as I was only 36 weeks pregnant. Anyways, I went to the hospital and was being monitored for a while again, and sure enough more deceleration in her rate. I was started on pitocin , which helped a little, then they decided to place a balloon in my uterus to artifically thin it out. It worked and yes I was given an epidural, oh what a wonderful drug. I delivered her Wednesday Jan 9 at 10:43 p.m. She was only 5lbs 6 ounces. She was born healthy with no ill effects from the decel, Thank You God.
