Violet-Amber-Rose`s birthstory

I began getting contractions early in the day so I called my doctor and she had me go to the hospital at about 1 p.m. I walked for awhile and the doctor broke my waters and gave me pitocin. The contractions got strong so she gave me some medication until I could get the epidural, which was only about an hour of intense pain. My fiance was great. He helped me do my breathing and held my hand. I recieved the epidural and was able to relax for awhile but I was starving the whole time. I only pushed for about 15 minutes before she was out. It was not to bad of a delivery. Way easier than my first. They placed Violet on my chest. She is so beautiful, with a full head of hair. Right away I noticed she was just like daddy. I didn`t get to feed her right away because she had meconium. My fiance`s mom and sister in law arrived and looked at the baby while she was in the warmer. Dad cut the cord. The placenta was stuck so the doctor had to manually remove it. Boy was I glad I had the epidural because that would have been very painful. Everyone left and I got to feed Violet. She latched on right away. Me and Dad just looked at her, amazed at how beautiful she was. Everything was perfect!!!
