Jack-Ronald`s birthstory

My water broke on wednesday at 5:45 with a big gush. I was in denial and panic and kept saying to my fiance that it muist be pee. I was so scared becuase he and I aren`t ready. When I got to the hospital they told me that the membranes were ruptured and I could labour anytime or not. I`ve been afraid of labour so this really scared me. I spent the night in the hospital and couldn`t sleep. The next day, the woman bunking beside me went into induced labour and did it without pain relief. I couldn`t stop crying from hearing her in so much pain. It made me more afraid of my fate. This lasted for hours and being bed ridden I couldn`t escape. She was finally taken out of there and I just lost it. Soon after another girl came in I cried to the nurse saying I couldn`t sit through another labour. She told me she isn`t in labour I was soooooooooooooo happy! I talked to her, her family was there and they were very nice and welcoming and they made me feel at home so I began to relax. I slept that night for the first time.

The second day I felt pains on and off. That night I felt pains regularily but the nurse told me it wa snothing and gave me demoral my mucus plug came out and more and more pain.

The doctor said they`d send me home and induce me in 10 days since my water ruptured. I thought... do i have to have pain like this for 10 days!!!!!!!! All night I had pain.

Next morning pain was stronger and more regular but contractions weren`t measuring on the monitor. After 10 trips to the shower they hooked me up again! And sure enough they were contracting and they checkedmy cervix... I was 6 cm dialated! They said your having this baby today! Right now! I said I NEED A FRICKEN EPIDURAL!

They transfered me to a birthing room and my contractions were getting longer and stronger and the edpidural came! Horray! A calm came over me. half hour later I was 10 cm my doc was here and we were ready to rock. Jack came in 2 hours!

He`s in NICU an doing great! Hos APGAR score was 9.9 he just wanted out!
