Broden`s birthstory

I went in for cervidil on April 27th at 7pm, but since I was already 80% effaced, they decided to do a pitocin drip instead. I was on the lowest dose of pitocin overnight and in the morning (after the shower I insisted on) I was put on a regular increased dosage to create stronger, more regular contractions. At about 2:30pm the contractions were 1-4 minutes apart and not giving the baby enough break in between to recover his heart rate. We tried moving me into different positions to improve his HR, but he just didn`t like the contractions at all. Since I was only at 4cm at the time, the doctor decided that a c-section was necessary.

I am pretty well overall, but sore and slow moving around. He is cute and feeding well.
