Tavion-Floyd`s birthstory

I was admitted into the hospital at 41 weeks to be induced at 8:30 pm (Aug 15) I thought that I would be getting medicine that would dissolve inside of my cervix, but ended up getting pitocin right away b/c I was still dialated to 1 1/2 and only 70% effaced. I started getting period like cramps, but slept like a baby! around noon I began to get very intense contractions that lasted over a minute and I only had 55sec to 1 min. recovery time. It sucked but I didn`t cry over em...lol... by 1pm I couldn`t take the pain anymore the contraction got super intense leading to the ever so wonderful `epidural`.. my water broke on its own after I got the epi... what a weird warm feeling.. I started to push at 5:25pm... after only 2 pushes my baby`s heart rate dropped to 65 bpm... leading to the doctor ordering a vacuum... she tried the vacuum 3 times and failed to get him out, but she did happen to get out some bloody goo that splashed on her face... I was rushed off for an emergency c-section in no time my prince was born at 5:41pm (only 16 minutes total)!!! 2 days later my son was transferred to Children`s Hospital for seizure like motions and low blood sugars. [this totally took a toll on me trying to breastfeed]. We are now at Children`s hospital with my baby who is now healthy and all major conditions have been ruled out. He should be discharged by morning... if he eats enough... which I think he will b/c my milk is finally coming in good!!! We also get a `sleep room` here which is nice b/c I get to wake up throughout the night to feed him and visit with him... sorry so long... I`m just sooooooo HAPPY!!!
