I finally have time to fill this out, lol. I have been so busy with my little ladybug. So here is the story .........I had an appointment on the 12 which was Wednesday. My doctor checked my cervix and told me I was 2cm dilated and about 50% effaced. he told me he wanted to induce me. I had an issue with my kidneys and he felt because I was full term it was ok to have the baby at that point. I asked him when he said he wanted me to go in the next day. I told him I couldn`t do that, becuz my husband was not able to come until the next friday. He said he would wait up until the next thursday but that was as far as he wanted to becuz he thought something could go wrong with my kidneys. I told him if I could talk it over with my husband and see if he could come sooner I would go in. I spoke to my husband the next day, and had my doctor call the red cross so he could get emergency leave. That was Thursday at around 7am my husband didnt get his leave orders until 4 that evening once I found out he was en route to the hospital. My mom came and went with me to L&D. We got there at 9pm and my husband got to the hospital at 11:30. When they stared the pitocin I was 3 and half cm dilated 80% effaced. That was about 11pm, the contractions were not that bad, I had been having thme before that gave me the pitocin, so I thought I would be able to go naturally. I was wrong the next morning my doctor came in and broke my water at about 8am. As soon as he did that the contractions hit me like a b!+(^. I told the nurse I needed that epidural ASAP. While I was waiting I kept getting up and down like I had to go to the bathroom. I waited for the epi for about 2 hours when he came I was in bliss, but that needle hurt like you know what. When it was put in I slept like a baby I couldn`t keep my eyes open. The nurse kept having to adjust the heart monitor becuz the baby kept moving around so much. My mom came back to the hospital around 12:45, and she could tell that I was ready, I couldn`t control myself I kept pushing well my body would push down without my control. The nurse told me let me know when you feel like you have to go to the bathroom, I said I been feeling like that. The doctor came in and checked me and said I was 10cm, and I could try some practice pushes If I felt like it and left the room. As soon as I had my next contraction I pushed and she was starting to crown. The nurse had to run and get my doctor. He didn`t think I would be ready so fast, he had to rush to put on his gown and get everything ready. I pushed for 2 miutes and she was out. My mom held my legs and my husband filmed everything. As soon as they put her on my chest I started breastfeeding her and she ate like a champ. She`s such a little peanut but she still tore my cookie. And I felt every stich becuz my epidural ran out by then. I didnt get a chance to finish the nursery or have my baby shower becuz she came so unexpectedly , but I`m so happy I wouldn`t have it any other way. While I was in the hospital my husband came back home and put everything together. And I`ll have my shower after her first appointment.
