Jason-Anthony-Meyers`s birthstory

Got to the hospital at 6am for scheduled induction, they started the IV as soon as we got there, i was dilated 4cm 75% effaced then they started the Pitocin at 8am, i was 5cm 75%. then they started my antibiotics for Group B, 9am she came and broke my water, contractions started instantly, lasting about 90seconds every 2minutes- so they gave me Neubain(sp??)- it lasted for MAYBE 3contractions and then wore off- so i chickened out and got my epi- i was already 8cm when he put it in so i think i did pretty good. they checked me 10minutes after i got it and i was a 9. they let me sleep for about 15minutes i woke up to 2nurses and the dr saying ok sit up its time to push!!! i pushed 4times (in sets of 3 10second long pushes). he was born with the cord around his neck and he was very blue, and had pooed while he was coming out so he got it in his eyes :( he got some ointment and he is finally opening his eyes and trying to look around. They were worried b/c his face was still very purple and blue in his face but his body was pink- turns out he dropped so fast and hard he smashed his face on my pelvic floor and he has some bruising- the dr said he is perfect and the bruising will go down in 2-3days. he looks EXACTLY like my 22month old except he has black hair- Nathans is blonde. He is eating betweeen 14-20oz of formula (he wouldnt suck when i offered him the nipple so we tried a bottle and he latched right on and started sucking) he makes piggy noises when he eats :)hecries if you put him down but if i rub his cheek or bridge of his nose he falls asleep instantly, im so in love and cant wait to take him home!! (hopefully tomorrow!!!). I torn on the inside again and got 3stitches- im VERY swollen- i dont even recognize my parts down there !!! i have been up and walking around (cleaning up my room when the nurses arnt looking lol) baby boy is set to get circumsized tomorrow morning and hopefully we will both be going home tomorrow afternoon! this was so fun and easy! hope he stays this sweet for the rest of his life - i know he has my heart!!!!! (well shares it with his older brother anyways) i love my boys!!!!!!
