Michael-Joseph`s birthstory

I was on hospital bedrest for 2 weeks after a placental abruption. On Sunday April 6th, I had a second abruption and was rushed to emergency c-section. The baby was out in no time! He was doing very well for a preemie right from the start. I had beta methasone shots during my bedrest, and they must have helped because he began breathing on his own by day 2. After 5 1/2 weeks in the NICU, he came home monitor free! His whole NICU stay went well. He just needed to grow and develop enough to come home. He is a joy!
