Peyton`s birthstory

Well, we went into the hospital at 12:01am on the 31st. After i was admitted and monitored for an hour, they inserted the cervidel. I had that until about 8am. It actually started contractions, but not strong enough. They started Pitocin at 9:15am and broke my water at 10:15am. My contractions started getting strongggg and regular so at 11:30am i got my epidural. Didn`t feel a THING all day. At 5:30pm they check me and i was at 10cm and 100% effaced. They didn`t want me pushing until my epidural wore off a little bit so i could feel myself pushing. At 6:30pm i finally felt `everything` and began pushing. They let my epidural run completely out.. It sucked. I pushed...and pushed...and pushed....AND PUSHED. After 4 1/2 hours of pushing they finally decided to do an emergency c-section. Finally at 11:34pm he was born. He was sunny-side up and just was NOT coming out although he was crowning for almost an hour. The c-section was awful and recovery has been hard but he was worth every pain i went through.
