Aaron-Thomas-Miller`s birthstory

Aaron Thomas Miller was born April 23rd at 9:42AM and is 7 pounds 10 ounces and 21 inches long and looks just like his daddy! I had my appt Thursday at 4 and my doc checked me and I was shocked when he said I was 4 centimters and he sent me straight to the hospital. I was having contractions, but couldnt feel them but made it to 4 1/2 cm so they admitted me. They started me on potocin and increased me but I made no progress for 8 hours! Then my doc broke my water and the contractions were instintly intense, like top of the charts and I had an epidural after 45 minutes of hard labor and was checked at 8cms. After the epidural I pretty much didnt feel anything. I pushed for an hour and a half and my doc showed up just in time cuz Aaron started pushing himself out when I was crowning. He is adorable, but he is in the nursery hooked up on monitors because he has what they call wet lungs and they have him on antibiotics so I have hardly held him and they wont let me breast feed him and when I try and pump nothing comes out :-(. So I`m so glad he`s here, but I want him to be with me and not in the nursery. By the way, I didnt try anything to get me to go into labor sooner, it just happened. Crazy!
